Fiona Mason
Managing Director, Political Mandate
Prior to joining Mandate Fiona served as Managing Director at FD Public Affairs and before that was a Director at Bell Pottinger Public Affairs. She is a public affairs specialist but also has extensive experience of advising clients on integrated communications programmes.
Fiona started her consultancy career at Brunswick where she worked on a number of high profile transactions, advising on the politics of competition policy.
Before joining Brunswick, Fiona was Parliamentary and European officer at the CBI. She has also worked in the House of Commons for Julian Brazier MP.
Name one thing few people know about you?
I was a member of Friends of the Earth and have voted for the Green Party.
What did you want to want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to own a shoe shop.
Who has most inspired you?
Bob Geldof.
What would you do if you became Prime Minister?
Introduce an autumn bank holiday.
Do you have one unfulfilled ambition?
Have the guts to run the marathon.
What is your favourite book?
‘Nice Work’ by David Lodge.
