What did you want to want to be when you were growing up?
Forensic scientist – until I visited a forensic science lab.

The late Ray Michie – Baroness Michie of Gallanach.
What would you do if you became Prime Minister?
Cut taxes for the poorest.
Do you have one unfulfilled ambition?
Many ambitions remain unfulfilled but one is to sail around the British Isles – in the wake of Jonathan Raban’s Coasting – and then write the book!
