Brooke has 20 years agency experience working primarily between New York and London. Her experience has been predominately focused on using strong messages and effective communications to establish, build, manage and protect consumer-facing and business brands. She has led successful domestic (UK and US), regional (Europe and the Middle East) and global campaigns for some of the world’s biggest companies including Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Kodak, Virgin, Johnson & Johnson, British Airways and AstraZeneca.
Brooke also has social issues experience having managed the World Economic Forum’s Global Health Initiative and Global Governance Initiative communications, as well as working for several charitable foundations.
Brooke has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA and a certification from the London Business School’s Centre for Marketing Excellence.
She is married with two daughters.
Name one thing few people know about you?
I am the 1991 Key West Deep Sea fishing women’s division champion, and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with a stand up comedienne, and an amateur genealogist.
What did you want to want to be when you were growing up?
According to my mother, a teenager. But I always aspired to be an artist.
Who has most inspired you?
My father and mother.
What would you do if you became Prime Minister?
Demand greater transparency, lead more rather than follow, think big – really big.
Do you have one unfulfilled ambition?
To run the New York City marathon.
What is your favourite book?
‘Atlas Shrugged’ by Ayn Rand and anything by John Irving.
