Mandate picks up two PR Week awards

Our nomination for our work for the Rarer Cancers Forum in the Best Research Campaign category was a great accolade for the team that put together a campaign with real quality, depth and strength of the policy focus on the issue of rarer cancers treatment. So it was an immense privilege for Mike Birtwistle and myself to be able to go up onto the stage and go beyond the shortlist and collect the PR Week Award for Best Research Campaign 2009 for Mandate.

And as we thought the night could not get any better ... the final PR Week Award of the night - PR Week Gold Award for Campaign of the Year 2009 (the winner judged best of all 20 campaigns awarded on the night) - was awarded to Mandate.

The awards clearly represents the work done by the team who worked on this campaign, but is also testament to the work by everyone who has built Mandate’s reputation and profile in our industry in our first year. An immense thank you and well done to the team who worked on this campaign.
