Biscuit-Gate

A few days ago Justine Roberts, co-founder of the exceptionally popular online parent community Mumsnet, came into Mandate to tell us a bit about the site and its users.

At the time she let us into a secret that Gordon Brown would be visiting their office for a live web chat.

We promised not to let it slip – but we can now, as earlier this afternoon the PM dutifully answered questions from an army of Mumsnetters.

Some liked him, some didn’t and some just seemed surprised he was there, but one question particularly vexed the community and Mr Brown completely failed to answer it.

So perhaps he will give Mandate an exclusive – come on Gordon: What’s your favourite biscuit?

Meanwhile, over to you: has anyone out there seen Gordon Brown eat a biscuit? What was it?
