Mandate shortlisted for 3 PRCA awards

I am delighted to say that we have just heard that Mandate has been shortlisted for three awards in the Public Relations Consultants Association Awards 2009.
The Political Mandate and Corporate Mandate teams have been shortlisted for the Save Our Newsagents campaign that we managed on behalf of Dawson News for the Media Relations Award.
The Brand Mandate team has been shortlisted for the Kleenex Campaign in the Consumer Award category.
A future for the local press?

The fear that local papers will disappear is one that has been written about at length in the media- regional, local and national- and a recent article in The Guardian has highlighted the concerns that many people are feeling, namely; who will local institutions and councils answer to if these publications disappear?
